STEP 2 - GET A TOPICResource 11. Click on this link: Find a park
2. Find your park by locating your park in the drop down list. It's in alphabetical order.

3. Use the resources that the National Park Service offers to fill out your notes sheet. If you can't find information about all of the topics for your park, use the sites below:

STEP 3 - Create a ParkCast

RUBRICYour park Touchcast must include all of the following:
1. Name of park - This should be the title of your ParkCast.
2. Land features of park (example: canyons, rivers, mountains, volcanoes, forests, etc.)
3. Geographic information (what state or states is it located in? Talk about elevation of land, and how many acres the park is. What streams and rivers are in the park?)
4. Type of environment (dry, cold, rainy, seasons, what animals live there, what plants grow there, etc.)
5. History of the park (when it was established, who has lived on the lands, how many visitors a year, important events/people connected with the park)
**You will be provided with a script and detailed directions for your ParkCast when you are ready to begin filming.
